You have not come to this place by accident. God is drawing you unto Himself.

John 6:44  No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

  Coming to know God starts with a seeking heart.

Jer 29:13  And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

Recognize that by nature you are a sinner as are all men.

Rom 3:23  For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; 

Understand that there is a cost to sin. The Bible says it is death. Eternal separation from God.

Rom 6:23  For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Believe in your heart that out of His love for you Christ died to pay for your sin.

Rom 5:8  But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in the truth of His resurrection..

Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Be assured by God's own word that if you call He will hear and save you.

Rom 10:13  For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Please do not attempt to reason out a relationship with God you will be wasting your time. If you are willing by faith to surrender to Him then He is ready to receive you as His child.

Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Please pray this or a similar prayer to ask Christ to come into your heart and be your Lord and Savior. 

Dear Lord

I confess I am a sinner and admit my present state as lost and undone. Lord I come by faith and ask you to forgive my sin and cleanse me of all unrighteousness by the shed blood of Jesus Christ. Please come into my heart and save me. Lord I surrender my life to you and commit my future into your loving care. Thank you Lord for saving me. In the Name of Your Son I pray.

When God saves a person they are no longer the same person they once were but have become a new person in Him.

2 Cor 5:17  Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Matt 10:32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.

33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
