Text: Exod 3:5 And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground. (KJV)
In our day we see a decline in the willingness of the Church to stand on Holy Ground as it once did. Holy Ground is the place where God's presence is manifested and His will revealed. The Saints of years gone by knew how to enter into and experience God's presence. The Church as we know it today is more caught up in self than in serving the Lord. The focus has changed from God to man. No longer is the heart's cry of men "Not my will but thine be done." but now echoes with "Not thy will but mine be done."
God told Moses to remove his shoes. His shoes were symbolic of his worldliness. Fundamental to a close encounter with God is our willingness to be separated from the world. Sad to say but many Christians would rather forfeit a close encounter with God so that they can remain in touch with the world.
It is our desire at On Holy Ground Ministries to encourage the Body of Christ to once again stand in the place of power and anointing. The place where Moses stood before going forth to lead the Israelites out of Egypt. To take their place in the presence of Almighty God and boldly go where angels fear to tread.
As God revealed His will for Moses life so He will for yours and mine. He hears the cry of the lost , the dying , those that are seeking to know Him and looks for those that will go and minister.
Rom 10:14-15 "How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!" (KJV)
Take time today to hear His
voice and listen as He
reveals His will for your life. Come into His presence and stand on
Holy Ground.
